Alexandra Margalith-Strul is an Israeli citizen who was raised in Munich, Germany, where she received her law degree in the year 1994 and passed the Second State Examination of the Bavarian Ministry of Justice in 1997.
She then moved back to Israel, where she passed the entry exams into Israeli legal internship in 1998 and upon passing the Israeli bar examinations in May 1999, she became a full member of the Israeli Bar Association, receiving a notary public’s license in the year 2010.
Alexandra practiced an associate in a Tel Aviv based law firm which specialized in German-Israeli legal and economic relations, where she was made full partner in the year 2004.
In the year 2001 Alexandra set up a department in the law firm, dealing exclusively with re-establishment of German citizenship for Israelis whose original German citizenship had been rescinded during the Nazi prosecutions, as well as for their descendants.
A few years later and based on the knowledge she had acquired regarding the naturalization process, she set up a similar project in the USA with a local partner.
In the past seventeen years, Alexandra, who meanwhile left said partnership and is now self-employed, has supported thousands of Jews of German origin and background in acquiring German citizenship, obtaining a their German passports and becoming full members of the EU.
Sara is a PR specialist, with particular expertise in the luxury retail market. Her early career evolved through integral roles on dynamic brand campaigns for Mini, Pommery & Jameson where she was responsible for executing PR campaigns and project management . Her strengths in relationship building and client management were evident from the outset and she quickly progressed to Emap and eventually to a Luxury Swiss watch wholesale and retail company. She directed the brand’s press communications and advertising campaigns and coordinated many high profile, highly secretive, product launch events on behalf of her clients.
After a career break to have children, Sara honed her communication skills in projects with individual clients selling various luxury retail products. Her exceptional sales and interpersonal skills led her to a challenging and exciting role representing a Swiss jewellery brand as UK main agent. She succeeded in securing the company’s largest ever UK sales.
Recently, prompted by the threat of Brexit and pending loss of her EU freedoms, Sara decided to seek opportunity and apply for German citizenship. She quickly discovered the process was complex and that certainly, a niche existed for a stress free, professional service to help clients. An idea was born and now together with Alexandra, she is delighted to launch GCR to accomplish just that.
